What to Expect

Your journey begins at the Tourdesk in Caracasbaaiweg, where you’ll receive a safety briefing and driving instructions. After signing the waiver, you’ll be equipped with a bandana, dust goggles, and water—everything you need for the ride ahead.

Once you set off, the excitement builds quickly. After a short ride on paved roads, you’ll head off-road into rough terrain filled with sand, rocks, hills, and narrow trails. This is where the real adventure begins.

Your first stop is the Jan Thiel viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views over the coastline and the Caribbean Sea—perfect for photos and a quick break.

Next, you’ll visit the famous “Cave of Doom,” a unique natural formation created by the power of the ocean. What was once a cave has collapsed over time, leaving behind an impressive natural bridge hidden among the rocks.

Continuing the route, you’ll pass the towering wind turbines on the east coast—an iconic and powerful sight against the rugged landscape.

The final highlight is Playa Kanoa, a wild beach on the north coast where waves crash dramatically against the cliffs. Take a moment to relax, feel the ocean breeze, and enjoy the raw beauty of this untouched location before heading back.

We first check availability for your preferred date and time. Once your booking is confirmed, your reservation is secured and a 15% deposit is required immediately.

After this, you will receive a secure payment link for the remaining balance, which must be completed no later than 24 hours prior to departure.
