What You Will Experience
The first mission of the tour is flamingo spotting! With a little luck, you’ll see these graceful birds in their natural habitat, a magical sight that’s perfect for your camera.
Next, we head to the vibrant Otrobanda district. Walking through its charming streets and alleys, you’ll discover hidden street art, colonial buildings, and secret spots that you would never have found without a guide. A highlight of this area is Kura Hulanda Village, once a neglected neighborhood, now a lively heritage site full of boutique shops, cafés, and quaint plazas.
From there, we return to the bus and cross the impressive Julianabrug, offering panoramic views over Handelskade and the Punda district. Our tour continues to the modern Jan Thiel area, where luxury villas and hotels line the skyline. Here we make a stop at the iconic “I ❤️ Curaçao” viewpoint, ideal for unforgettable photos with Table Mountain, Caracas Bay, and the Caribbean Sea as your backdrop.
No tour of East Curaçao is complete without a visit to Landhuis Chobolobo, the birthplace of the world-famous Curaçao liqueur. Walk through this historic estate, sample the different liqueur flavors, and browse the souvenir shop for unique gifts.
Finally, we explore Punda, giving you free time to wander, take photos at the “Dushi” and “Curaçao” city signs, and admire the famous Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge – a perfect way to conclude a morning packed with highlights.
